It isn't fair that a new mom can get sick. There is so much to do...I don't have time to have a sore throat and a runny nose!!! Lucky for me it is a long weekend and that means Chris is home to help out with Ian so I can rest a little more. Chris even took Friday off and that allowed me to sleep a lot that day so I am feeling a lot better now.
Today we went to the local furniture store to check out their Labor Day sale. Our rocker recliner is in pretty sad shape. It works great but looks really crummy where the upholstery is worn and the stuffing is sticking out. The worst part about it is that when I sit properly my feet don't touch, making it really hard to rock Ian. We picked out a nice recliner from La-Z-Boy, in the color flax which is a yellow tan. It will match our creamy yellow living room walls, and it is big enough for Chris but still comfortable for me. Ian liked getting rocked in the floor model. Come to think of it this was Ian's first outing with both Chris and I that wasn't a doctor visit. He got to help pick out a recliner.
