Sunday

Today was our last day off for our holiday from work. I love that CMU gives us so much time off during the holidays but I hate that it sucks so much going back. It was wonderful spending so much time with Ian over the last two weeks. Time with my son was the greatest Christmas gift of all.

Here are a couple of big smiles from today. Ian is wearing his new Red Wings outfit from Grandma Jo Ann and Grandpa Don...it is a 12 months size! I had to roll the sleeves but the little bugger fills it out pretty well. He is growing like a week. Besides this outfit Ian is now is 6-9 month size clothes with only a couple items of his 3-6 stuff still fitting him. Big boy!

We gave the high chair another try. He is still a touch too little to fit in the seat properly but a couple of rolled up blankets kept Ian upright. Once he is big enough I think he is going to enjoy having a higher perspective on the house. On a side note we have moved on to Oatmeal Cereal and will be tasting our very first fruit later this week if all goes well. Ian is so eager to check out the food and drinks that we are eating that I think it is time to go full steam ahead with solid foods. (Not that you can call those puree baby foods solid...but I am sure you know what I mean.)
