More pictures from our long weekend. Here Ian and I are in the front yard hanging out and playing. Mason and Don and Jo Ann's dog Shadow hung out with us in the grass while everyone else played on the trail wagon.
Ian was playing so serious. I let him play with a Babies R Us booklet that Jo Ann gave me. He latched onto that and looked it over and over. He checked out every single page, and threw a fit when I tried to take it away. So I let him play with it until he lost interest.
What do you want Mama? Can't you see I am busy reading?
Mason was having a blast rolling in the grass and enjoying the sunshine.
Once he got tired of rolling around and sniffing everything he could reach on his leash he decided to just lay down and watch the world go by.
I haven't been able to get a picture of Mason's smile in a while. It was so good to see him having fun. He even got a turn on the trail wagon.
All this grass to roll in and I can't reach it all.
We moved the party to the back yard around dinner time to BBQ some brats. Ian continued playing with the Babies R Us booklet.

He sat so good in his chair, and looked at his paper and checked out all the sights in the yard. They have the back yard fenced in and it is all decorated up. I should have taken some pictures of how nice it is there.

What a beautiful day to sit outside and read.
It was a great weekend. I couldn't have been more relaxed even if we had been able to take a "real" vacation. Enjoying the country life was so nice. I think that we may have to find a house outside of town when the economy turns around and we can sell out current place. Chris will want to get a trail wagon, that is for sure.
