This picture of Ian was taken earlier in the week. He is playing with one of his favorite books the 5 Silly Monkeys. He flips and turns this book all around. It is getting close to getting worn completely out. That is ok because he is learning to appreciate books.
One of the things that Ian enjoys recently is getting lifted up to the ceiling. Our ceilings are so low that is is easy to lift him so his head touches, or hang him upside down so his feet touch. Ian thinks it is so much fun to be up high.
Goofy boy rolling around on the floor.
I love how easy Ian is to amuse some times. It doesn't take much for me to get him to smile one minute, but then he is mister serious before you know it. I love those times when just saying something silly will get him to smile or even better giggle.
While we were at my parents Ian found that the table could be a really fun place to play. He would climb over the bars on the chairs and play under the table. It must feel like a cave or a fort to him. It kept him busy for a long time Friday night.
You may not enter my fort without the proper identification, unless you are a doggie.
This Tigers outfit is still a bit big on Ian and it kept tripping him up when he was crawling around. It didn't stop him though, just slowed him down a little.
Mason taking a rest after his long day traveling and playing with my parents dog Jessica. He is a very rude little dog. He would follow Jessica around the house sniffing her butt. She didn't seem to care for this and it made her nervous. Which is funny because she is about 4 times bigger than Mason.
Tonight when we had dinner Ian tried to escape his high chair. He got one arm out before I put a stop to the shenanigans.
