Busy Weekend

This was a very busy weekend considering we didn't have any plans or do anything big. I feel exhausted. On Saturday, Chris' parents came for a visit and we went to lunch at IHOP. It was the first restaurant trip with Ian where we didn't have any snacks to bribe good behaviour out of Ian. Amazingly it went well. He really enjoyed the pancakes, especially the ones his Grandma Jo Ann had with the strawberry syrup and bananas.

The pictures are in the opposite order from which I took them. I forgot to load them backwards so they would come out in chronological order.

A random picture of one very cute, chubby foot. Ian says you can ring him on his mobile and he will text you back later. Just kidding. Ian loves playing with his fake phones that I brought him from my work. He will hold it to his ear and say "Hi."
Ian in his favorite spot reading. Recently he has started "reading out loud." He will look through his books and babble as he goes. I have no idea what he is saying but I imagine that he is reading the book, or at least talking about the pictures in them.
Just another cute motion shot. That is about all I can get these days, he never slows down!
I caught a picture of Ian playing the xylophone.
Random Mason picture!
Since Ian decided to get up at 5am both days this weekend he and I spent the first few hours of the morning hanging out in the living room. I went through some magazines that we destined for the recycling bin this week, and Ian spent a good while looking through them first.
Peak-a-boo!
Ian says these are my pumpkins! Mama saved them from the neighbors by bringing them in the house so we can enjoy them until Halloween. They are so fun to hug and lean on.
Mama said to sit here by my pumpkins, but I really don't want to. Maybe if I look disinterested she will stop with all the pictures already.

Have a wonderful week!
