Here is Ian talking on his play phone. He knows how to use the phone, that is for sure. Ian was walking around with the phone up to his ear. Too cute!
I thought this picture, while not a great photo, really shows meal time for Ian well. Mason is always sitting below waiting for the cast offs. Poor Mason is gaining weight from all the extra treats he gets from Ian during meals. Also, note the bottle...Ian went ALL WEEKEND without having a bottle once. He is using sippy cups almost all the time now, we are just using bottles until the liners are used up.
This week Ian started something new...climbing onto the rocket ride on toy. This time he climbed on backwards but he will climb on right too, and sometimes even climb up to a stand on the seat. (lord help me!)
On one of our sick days home Ian took the Red Wings foam hand and shoved it in the toy box as far as it would go. I think that he was giving it to them for losing their first games by putting them in the box. Good thing they redeemed themselves last night by winning a game...finally.
I thought this picture came out funny. I was hanging out while Ian played with the bears and at one point he started meddling on the desk. His cute little booty swimming in those jeans was just too cute not to get a picture.
These bears are ones that I found when I cleaned out the front closet the weekend before. The big one on the left and the one Ian is holding are bears of mine from when I was a kid and the one on the right is a Vermont Bear that Chris got me for our first anniversary. Ian is enjoying getting custody of these bears.
This picture came just before Ian buried his face into the bear, promptly pulling back with an icky look on his face. The bear is about 30 years old, and kind of smells the part, but he is still good for hugs.
Playing with the gourds again.
Another couple of things found in the front closet...maracas brought back by my parents on a trip to Mexico, and a singing and dancing pumpkin man. Ian loves both.
They make even more noise when you bang on the table with them. Does anyone have some earplugs?
A very dark video of Ian riding the rocket toy. It is hard to see him but the lights on the rocket light up Ian's face pretty cool. Enjoy!
This weekend we took a little trip to visit Chris' parents so Chris could try out shooting his new gun. I took my camera but I didn't take it out even once. It was nice just relaxing for once.

No matter what others say, I think it is still interesting and useful maybe necessary to improve some minor things
