On Tuesday we had Christmas with our friends Dan, Chantel and their baby Isabelle. It was fun, good food, and we all got great gifts. Here is Ian watching Chantel play Guitar Hero.

On Wednesday we took a trip to Saginaw because I had to pick up my dress for Chris' sister Melissa's wedding this spring. While we were in town we stopped at Toys R Us to play a little.
I got Ian some new food I heard about called Ella's Kitchen. They come in pouches and big kids can suck the yummy baby food (for bigger kids like Ian it seems like a smoothie) through a spout. Ian LOVED it, and sucked the pouch dry. We are going to have to get a lot more of this stuff!
Polly, Ian's day care provider, got him this toy blender. Ian wasted no time putting every toy he could fit inside and tried to blend them. This was the very first gift that Ian opened all by himself.
For Christmas Eve dinner Ian had some Mac and Cheese. He is getting into feeding himself now. It is slow going and very messy, but it isn't anything a bath can't fix.
Yummy cheese!
This morning Ian started opening his presents from Santa all by himself! He got a monster bowling set, a train set, stacking boxes, Mr. Potato Head, a recorder, a wooden airplane, books, Monsters Vs. Aliens on DVD and some crayons. He is having a blast with his new toys.
I got a new camera for Christmas so more pictures to come later as I switched over to using the new one after I opened it!
A couple of videos. The first was Ian reading in the car on the way back from Saginaw. The second video is of the feeding mess from last night.
