Maple Syrup Festival

Today we went to the Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival for the first time since we have lived here.  Every year we are either busy or it is raining.  This morning, it was drizzling a little but it wasn't enough to stop us from finally checking out the festival.  By the time we got to Shepherd it wasn't even drizzling any more, so we could walk around a little bit and check out what was going on in town.

Of course we left the camera at home thinking there wouldn't be much in the way of picture moments.  The only thing we found worth a shot was this awesome old car at the auto show we didn't even know they had at the festival.  It was smiling at us so I asked Chris to take a picture with his phone.   

You can see Ian munching on a cookie in the picture.  He got to pick that out for himself at the craft show.  We brought home a small container of Shepherd Maple syrup to try.
