Finally Nice Weather

I am so excited for the nice weather we have been having this weekend.  Friday nights storm seemed to have made way for some nice warm (albeit humid) weather for the weekend.  We had a great weekend, sort of the calm before the busy weekend we have ahead with Chris' sister Melissa's wedding.

On Saturday we took a trip to Midland with Chantel and her daughter Isabelle.  It was nice to get out of town.  We bought Ian Toy Story pajamas and Chris got a couple shirts, then we went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.  During lunch Iasbelle was holding Chris' hand while Chantel was feeding her.  It was so sweet.  Later on in the day Chantel and Isabelle came over and had dinner with us also.  It was nice to see her so much in one weekend thanks to her husband being out of town.

Ian was driving his cars off the chair arm as if they were going over a cliff.  He was having a great time.  Then he came down on the floor and was driving the cars over me!
I did a little trial run dressing Ian in his suit for Melissa's wedding today.  He was none to happy with the tie.  It fits perfectly though and is just about the cutest thing he has ever worn.  Hopefully he will get use to the tie.  If not, then we will just take it off.  No reason for him to be uncomfortable.
We have been wanting something to hang behind the couch for a long time now.  Most large art is way out of our price range so a while back I bought a 36x24 canvas and some paint.  This weekend I finally got around to painting the canvas.  I was going for an abstract sort of sunrise.  I'm having some trouble coming up with a name for it so if you have an idea please let me know.

What a handsome little man! He does look so well dressed but he didn't look too happy about it! LOL
