Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!  We had a great weekend!  This weekend was our Hasbro Game Night, via House Party.  We were sent a package of three games (the new Trivial Pursuit Bet You Know It, Electronic Catchphrase, and Taboo) and a bunch of snacks and coupons.  More on that below.

Here is Ian Saturday morning playing at the table.  He just loves that he can sit like an big boy at the table and can get up and down from the chair whenever he wants.  In this picture he is wearing those Huggies jeans diapers, which were a gift form his Grandma Jo.
I am not sure what he wanted to change about the TV but when it wasn't working for him he got closer and closer until the remote was on the TV screen.
We stole borrowed this puzzle from Grandma and Grandpa Stacer's house on our last visit.  Ian is in love with it and plays with the pieces pretty much constantly right now.  I am trying to teach him the names of the dinosaurs colors, but so far the only one he will repeat is "ello."
Hasbro Game Night.  We invited a bunch of friends over for game night and asked them to wear a silly "thinking" hat for a chance to win a prize.  I bought a sequin beret that I found on a clearance rack as my hat/one to give to anyone who forgot a hat.  The man who checked me out took one look at the hat and then looked at me like I was nuts.  I just told him "Don't ask."  Jack enjoyed wearing the hat for a bit.
Dan, Isabelle, Sarah and Chantel right before we starting playing Trivial Pursuit Bet You Know It.  Dan won the contest for the hat I liked best and got to take home the Electronic Catchphrase game as a prize.  Oh and the trivia game is pretty much awesome.  You bet on whether you think the person will know the answer to the question.  That sure made it interesting.  The kids really enjoyed playing with the betting chips.
Chris wore his favorite hat the colander.  He even, reluctantly, posed for a photo wearing his hat.
Josh and Nicole (Jack's parents) hanging out after dinner right before we started playing the game.  Due to a little incident with the kids and our game board we rolled from the top three players for a winner, and Josh won!  Way to go.  I took the last question and was very disappointed to not get it correct according the cards answer.  It asked what drink Benjamin Franklin referred to as "proof God loves us and wants us to be happy."  I answered "beer" because that is the saying we have heard over and over again.  The game seemed to think it was "wine."  Oh well, I wasn't close to being the winner anyway.
Sarah and Mason.  The dog crawled onto Sarah's lap and was enjoying a little attention.  He loves when Sarah comes to visit him because she is always so nice to him and lets him get all fresh with her.  She got a few good puppy kisses from him.
For our game night I wanted to get the kids a little prize for putting up with the adults playing games all evening coming to game night.  So I picked up some little containers of sidewalk chalk for each of them and wrapped them.  On Sunday Ian and I went and drew some Father's Day messages for Daddy on the sidewalk.
While we were out there the neighbors dog came over to visit with us.  He is a nice dog, just really rambunctious so he scares me when he comes near Ian.  Luck for us the dog listened really well and sat down and then laid down instead of coming over by Ian.  I took him back home but the neighbors wouldn't answer the door.  So I took the dog to their yard and tried to get him to stay there (they have no fence) but he ended up in our our backyard.  Ugh.  He doesn't know any better, but I think his owners should.
