Giggle
Last night Chris and I took Ian with us to get groceries at Meijer. We usually reserve the weekend for such outings but since we were away it was pushed to Monday night. Chris carried Ian around the store and tried to make it fun for Ian who was pretty tired from a long day playing at day care. Chris showed Ian things as we went, explaining stuff, making funny noises, bouncing...generally looking silly. In fact, had he not had a baby in his arms the men in the white coats would have been coming for him. It was totally worth it though because Ian was giggling and babbling up a storm. At on point I had to go back several aisles to get something I forgot and as I walked back to where I left the boys I could hear gleeful squealing, "Da Da Da Da Da Da." It was so cute! I just hope the rest of the shoppers thought so too. It doesn't really matter because we got through getting a weeks worth of groceries at 6pm without Ian having a meltdown. Bonus.
