Sick Baby

I have been home with a sick baby the last two days. Sunday night Ian got a fever, and it just kept going up and up. I called the doctor and he advised giving him a luke warm bath. that worked, it brought it down but not totally away. In the morning we went into the doctor and got some antibiotics. Ian was feeling pretty crummy all Monday: sleeping and crying all day.

Pitiful baby picture.I got a little smirk out of Ian on Monday. The dog got Ian to laugh once but other than that he was pretty sad all day.
Today however was a different story. The fever was gone and Ian was getting back to himself. We played a little but mostly he still rested.
He had lots of smiles for me today.

I think that since Ian was feeling better he enjoyed getting to spend the day with me. We even took a nap together on my bed today. It was nice to get some extra sleep because I have been up with Ian a lot the last couple days.
I am so glad that he is starting to feel better. There is no worse feeling than having a sick, upset baby that you can't make feel better no matter what you do.
