TGIF

Thank goodness it's Friday! I am looking forward to this weekend, we are going to visit my parents. Then on Sunday Chris' parents are coming down and they are going with Chris and my Dad to a Red Wings game. My parents just returned from a cruise so we will get to see all their pictures and hear their stories (live vicariously).

Here is Ian looking so adorable in his overalls this week. He looks less baby like and more like a kid every day. Next week I hope to take Ian in to get some pictures taken probably at Walmart, just because they are local (otherwise I would have to drive to Midland to go to the Sears Portrait Studio). I ordered this bench from Bed Bath and Beyond so we will have a place to sit to take off and put on our shoes. I want to limit how much we walk through with shoes on to keep the carpet cleaner. We also ordered a refurbished Dyson D25 (vacuum) off of a discount site Chris frequents called Woot.com. Our vacuum is getting old and doesn't suck up the dog hair very well, so with the new carpet it was time for an upgrade. The discounted price on a refurbished model made the Dyson actually affordable.
Later Gator jammies. We are having a bit of play time before bed the other night and Ian was rolling around so that his feet where together and you could see the words on his feet. He certainly does enjoy those feet of his.
This was my big boy this morning before daycare. Last night he slept through the whole entire night in his room. For those who do not know, Ian has put up quite a protest to sleeping alone in his room. We have been working on him for the last two weeks and have made leaps and bounds of progress. He still cries for a long time before he will fall asleep but as of last night he can sleep the whole night in there after that. *a very quiet happy dance*
Ian doesn't look very happy in this picture but I love how straight up his is sitting, it makes him look so big.
