Independence Day

The other day Ian was throwing a fit at bed time when all of a sudden he just zonked out on Chris. I moved him into his bed and he was out like a little light.Daddy let Ian play with one of the PlayStation 3 controllers while he was playing a game of hockey. Ian had a great time pretending he was the one playing the game. On occasion he would manage to turn on the controller and mess with Chris' game.
Ian had a great time playing a video game with Daddy.
Over the weekend we got a visit from Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Tony. We went out shopping and got Ian a ride on toy Rocket from Little Einstein. It is amazing how much Ian loves this toy. The plan was that it would be a birthday gift but Ian was so excited we just let him have it.

My little monkey about to climb up on Mommy.
Look at all those teeth!
Look Mama it has a trunk to store my toys in! Ian put all sorts of stuff in the trunk. He also will hold onto the back and use it to balance and walk across the room. We tried over and over to get a video of this but the moment the camera comes out Ian sits down. ugh.
When Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Tony came to visit they brought Ian a new toy. It was a big hit!
Off center picture with a BIG smile!
Snack time. Food is always a good reason to smile.
Ian used my leg to climb up on the chair and get the remote control, his favorite thing to play with.
Ian with his prize after climbing back down from the chair with a little help from me.

I gave Ian a ride on his new rocket. He loves it so much, I am glad we didn't wait to let him play with it.
