It is hard to believe that next week is already Thanksgiving! In preparation for the holidays we went and had our very first professional family portraits taken. I will scan and post them when the prints come back. Until then you will have to settle for a picture of Ian sacked out in the car when we got home from our photo taking adventure.

This morning Ian had a good time climbing up on Chris, who was laying on the floor in front of the couch. Daddy the jungle gym.

Ian was playing a fun game of take a dog toy, climb up daddy and onto the couch. He would then get the dog to follow him up onto the couch before shimmying down as fast as he could go with the toy still in hand. Up and down...poor Daddy.

Lately Ian has taken a liking to one of my books. I think it might be the cover art or the color, but he pulls it off the shelf all the time! I decided to snap a quick picture during one of the moments where I am wrestling it away from him again.

The other day I was just hanging out with Ian. I looked away because he was pushing around his rocket ride on toy, harmless. I look back a moment later and see this. Got a quick picture before extracting him from the top of the table.

Trouble makers in action. Our poor dog is getting so fat on the food that Ian feeds him from his high chair.

Look at that goofy face.

"Hey, Ian, look up here!" "What Ma? I'm busy drinking my milk. You know it does a body good...you say that all the time you know."

My handsome guys in their new coats. Chris' coat is from Old Navy 50% off sale and Ian's is a hand me down. No matter how good of a deal the coats were they look awesome! That hat on Ian's head is actually Chris', a free gift from Hockey News Magazine.

Ian decided one night this week that he wanted to play with his bath toys. So he brought he basket of them out into the living room and dumped it on the floor. It didn't take long for the basket to be more fun than the toys themselves.

He walked all over the house with the basket on his head. I think he enjoyed seeing his world through the blue plastic.

Look at me Ma, I have a helmet!

I like how he was using the handle to hold the basket on his head.

Don't worry, I had my eyes on him the whole time because I was worried he would trip and get the handle around his neck. No accidents happened and Ian had a great time playing basket head.

Another basket is so much fun. After working on putting away laundry this week I left the basket out by mistake. Ian pushed it all around the living room putting stuff in it. Who knew the container would be more fun than the stuff in it.

I wanted to say a special thank you to my cousin Cheryl for the generous gift of heaps and loads of hand-me-down clothes for Ian. Cheryl you rock and you have awesome taste in clothes. Ian is going to be the best dressed at day care.
