Ian got to ride a bus for the first time when we took the Bavarian Inn shuttle to and from the parking lot. He rode with my dad on the way back to that parking lot.
Ian rode with Chris on the bus from the parking lot to the Inn for dinner. He seemed to really enjoy getting to look out the window. We also got to drive through the covered bridge which was a thrill too.
A family picture in Bronner's. Don't mind the dopey look on my face.
Me and my boy checking out the sights and lights Bronner's had to offer. He loved looking all around, especially up at the ceiling. If you are ever in Bronner's don't forget to check out the ceiling, they have decorations there too.
Chris did a great job keeping Ian entertained while we all shopped for ornaments.
There is so much to see, it made Ian tired. He eventually fell asleep in his stroller even in all the chaos of the busy store.
The tigers had Tigers hats on...too cute!
Another family picture in front of the big Bronner's Santa.
Chris' parents along with Chris and Ian. You can see Ian checking out the ceiling in this picture. I noticed way more just watching where Ian would look since you forget to look up sometimes when there are so many displays of ornaments to catch your attention.
My mom and dad in a self portrait while we waited to get seated at the Bavarian Inn. I learned my lesson and will always call in advance for reservations from now on.
Another silly family picture are Bronner's
Chris and Ian watching a man playing an accordion while we waited in line to eat. Ian really enjoyed the music.
Another cute bus ride picture.
My dad with Ian checking out all the many, many ornaments. We left with a small fortune in ornaments.
Ian enjoying his ride around the store.
I thought this picture was cool. Since there were 7 of us all together we often would be spread out, and you would have to look behind you to make sure you weren't loosing someone. So this was a good view of that.
Chris' mom shopping for some new ornaments. She and Don got Chris a Red Wings Santa hat. That will be a hit this Christmas.
Me and my dad by the cruising cars tree. They had an ornament that was almost the exact same car he has! Pretty cool!
It was a very fun day. I am glad that we got to get together like that and have a nice dinner. Of course it was a great chance for all of Ian's grandparents to get to visit with him at once. We will have to do it again some time, just not deer widow weekend again. It was so busy, we could have done without that.
