Holiday Whirlwind

As per usual the holidays were a whirlwind of visitors, presents, awesomeness, mess and chaos. So that post on Christmas wherein I mentioned that I would post later with more pictures from my new camera...well that got a bit side tracked by visit after visit and a house that looks like the toy tornado came through...twice. So here after much trouble thanks to Blogger refusing to upload more than one picture at a time, are the pictures as promised.

Ian enjoying a little lunch on Christmas Day. He was in those PJ's ALL DAY LONG! No need to change when all you do is PLAY all day long.
Another Christmas Day first...Ian climbed on the couch without help and while no one was looking. I was in the kitchen and Chris stopped to read a little of a book he got for Christmas. I hear Chris say "Melinda you better get in here" and I come around the corner to see Ian jumping on the couch. That kid has no fear. I hope that those eyes for the back of my head come in soon...I am going to need them.
A very manly cuddle time piled on the recliner.
A cute little monkey trying to climb on the recliner. Note that climbing will be a prominent thing on this blog for a while, as it is new and still a novelty.
The day after Christmas Chris' parents and his sister Melissa came to visit. Oh the piles of gifts for little Ian, there were many. He got a Ian-size couch, a tent with tunnel and assorted other toys. What a fun day for Ian.
Trying out the new couch. Ian is so funny...he walks over to the couch, turns around and just plops down backwards.
Ian got a ride on Grandpa Don's back and he thought that was just about the most fun thing ever. I hope that Grandpa didn't have a back or knee ache after that.
HELLO...Hello...hello through the tunnel.
Peekaboo from Ian and Daddy.
Ian has had so much fun crawling through the tunnel.
On Sunday we made a big breakfast at home and just like on Christmas morning Ian repeated "sausage" when Chris said it. It is one of the clearest words Ian says.
Later on Sunday my parents came, of course bearing many, many gifts for Ian. What a lucky little boy! He got a new car, the Cozy Coupe! (Note to parents buying the Cozy Coupe...it takes FOREVER to put together! Ahhhhh.)
We got a visit also from Dan, Chantel and baby Isabelle. Belle even let my Dad hold her a while.
And Ian submitted to being picked up and cuddled by Chantel.
Dan and Ian played in Ian's room for a while in Ian's new tent. We are going to have to have Dan over again...I think he enjoyed that tent more than Ian. :o)
I thought that picture of Ian in his car was so cute...it looks like he is on a phone. No talking or texting and driving young one!
Wearing Daddy's hat around the house.
Hmmm...what shall I get into next?
So ridiculously cute...and I think he knows it!
Lounging in Daddy's chair...doesn't he look cozy?
Mommy I think that it is about time to take down the Christmas tree. I think you are right son. I hope that everyone had the most Merry of Christmases (or Happy Hanukkah) and that you have a wonderful New Year!
On a closing note...Ian rocking in the recliner.
