Goofy Sunday

We started out Sunday on a goofy note.  Ian was very amused by his Daddy...

Very amused indeed...

Because Daddy had a colander on his head "to keep the government out of [his] thoughts".  I had the colander set aside as a donation and Chris suddenly decided it had a use for us again.

We decided to be rid of our coffee table.  It has become quiet a hazard since we got the Wii, and has nearly been the cause of a few dramatic incidents.  So Chris was taking it apart to take to his sister and Ian decided to use it as a jungle gym one last, wonderful time.

For Christmas Ian got this really cute train set from his great aunt Sophie and uncle Chuck.  We decided to put it away for a few months because he was so lucky to receive a ton of toys for Christmas.  So today with our extra living room space we decided it was a great day to bring it out.  Ian was having a great time, although he still doesn't seem to get the concept of the tracks yet.

It is so much more fun when you sit in the middle of the tracks don't you know.

With the help of Pillsbury, I baked some cookies for dessert tonight.  Ian was enjoying his cookie so throughly that I thought a picture was in order.

I will upload the full set to Flickr Photostream, check it out for a little video of Ian using the table and a jungle gym.
