Pug Play

Today we took Mason to the monthly pug play group in our area. I guess the nice weather kept everyone away because besides us and the hosts, no one else came. That was ok because their pug Wonka is very sweet, so we could let Ian play on the floor with the two dogs.

Mason made himself at home on the couch. This time the group met in the community room of a local apartment complex. So it was comfortable and all enclosed. The two dogs getting reacquainted. The host family has another dog Nilla but her allergies had her under the weather so she stayed home.
Wonka tried to engage Mason is play a few times but Mason was skittish, not really knowing what to do. He hasn't got to play with other dogs his size much before so it was very new to him.

Just about time to clean up and go home Ian decided to be like a doggie and crawl under the coffee table. He wasn't quite sure how to get himself back out.

Daddy ended up having to help Ian get out from under the coffee table, but Ian had a blast trying out something new and playing with a new doggie friend. I am actually glad no other dogs showed up because Ian and Mason had a great time without being overwhelmed with lots of other dogs and smells.
