Two Stories

I have two quick stories today but no pictures. Please attempt to disguise your disappointment.

Last night I went to the movies with my friend Chantel and Chris stayed home with Ian. We went to see the new Harry Potter movie...which was great I might add. When Chantel dropped me back off an home no lights were on. I opened the front door quietly assuming Ian was asleep. I was right, but where he was asleep was the part I didn't expect. He was curled up on the floor at Chris' feet sound asleep. Chris said that he laid down there about an hour and a half before I got home and just fell asleep, so he left him there and covered him with a blanket. It was so cute seeing his tiny little body sound asleep on the floor.

This morning when I dropped Ian off at day care his favorite helper was there, Kim. When we got inside Kim said "Hi Ian!" and Ian smiled shyly at her and then buried his face in my shoulder. A moment later he lifted his head and looked at Kim with such a flirty little shy baby face before throwing him arms up for her to hold him. He was so happy. It was the first day in weeks that I left day care and he didn't cry after me.

Note: My toe is doing well. I went to see an orthopedic surgeon and he said that it is in fact fractured but it isn't a problematic fracture. Just take it easy and it will heal it several weeks. Luckily it isn't very painful and I can walk on it, albeit very carefully.
