Motherhood

One of the many joys of motherhood: happily accepting a mouthful of food to be spit into your hand.

Today Ian has been biting off more than he can chew...literally.

It started with a cereal bar at breakfast.  He put so much into his mouth that he couldn't even chew.  After some coaxing he eventually spit it into my hand, only to take another too big bite and have to do it all over again.

Tonight at dinner the same thing.  Most of us take a bit of our chicken nuggets instead of shoving the whole thing in our mouths at once.  Not my son.  He is going for the record, but sadly he doesn't quiet make it.

Thank goodness for hand soap and a weak gag reflex.
